The bare metal bodyshell and associated panels have now been treated and sealed with epoxy primer.

Update report - September 16, 2020

With the car now back from the blasters I am happy to report that the bodyshell is every bit as solid as we thought it was, with barely any significant rust. Truly excellent news!

Update report - August 14, 2020

We have been preparing the coupe to be sent out to be media blasted back to bare metal. Even when we think we have an unusually rust free body, we still cut off the outer sills in order to access and inspect the inner sills. We were frankly amazed at the fantastic condition of the inner box sections behind the outer sills! This car is definitely one of the more 'rust free' E Type shells that we have ever seen.
