Historic Jeff Gordon #24 Dupont Flame NASCAR with racing history including Daytona 500 and Talladega.
Hendrick Motorsports Monte Carlo race car, identified as 24-259, raced by Jeff Gordon seven times during the 2003, '04, '05 and '06 NASCAR Sprint Cup seasons. Jeff finished in the top 10 in four of these races. The race car was re-built by Hendrick Motorsports race shop employees, to Hendrick Motorsports specifications, using authentic Hendrick Motorsports raced parts.
The Hendrick Motorsports' SB2 engine block, identified as JRH-371, was maintained by the Hendrick Motorsports Engine Shop and was raced by Hendrick Motorsports drivers during the 2003 thru 2007 NASCAR Cup Series seasons. This block was used in an SB2 that won the Loudon, NH race on 7/16/06, by Kyle Busch in the #5 Kellogg's Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
The DuPont flames driver's suit was worn by Jeff Gordon in several races during the 2005 NASCAR Sprint Cup race season and is autographed by Jeff Gordon.
The race car is finished in the 2006 DuPont Flame livery, Chevy SB2 JRH-371 engine, Tex Racing T-101 transmission, Goodyear Racing tires, and 15"Aero Steel wheels.
The sale includes the #24 Jeff Gordon Chevrolet Monte Carlo race car, and a large amount of documentation. This includes Certificate of Registration, Documentation Report and Certificates of Authenticity from Hendrick Motorsports.
