At Classic Jaguar we are almost certainly rebuilding more E Type IRS (independent rear suspension) units than anyone else in the country. At any given time we are sure to have a number of assemblies under construction, such is the demand for our Team CJ rebuilding services.
When you select a Team CJ IRS rebuild, you are choosing the ultimate in terms of quality and performance. Each unit is disassembled and inspected in minute detail, differentials are completely rebuilt and every component down to the last nut and bolt is either restored to perfection or renewed entirely. All bearings, seals, bushings, brake cylinders, rotors, springs and shocks are replaced as a matter of course.
There are basically two specifications for Team CJ IRS rebuilds – stock and performance.
The stock rebuild is to entirely original specs and the performance rebuild incorporates a number of Team CJ performance upgrades, including Koni shocks and Team CJ springs and bushings.
Turn around time for Team CJ IRS rebuilds is typically 2 to 4 weeks. An expedited service can be arranged upon special request.
Door to door collection and delivery by road freight will be arranged on your behalf. Inbound delivery charges are heavily subsized, delivery of your fully rebuilt IRS will be billed at a standard rate ($325.00) for all mainland US states.
Prices shown include all parts and labour – there are no hidden costs. All Team CJ IRS rebuilds are covered by a 36 month/unlimited mileage limited warranty. Warranty does not cover freight or third party labor charges. Differential units, splined hubs and hub carriers must be serviceable. Differential ratios can be changed at additional cost.
