Ron Prezner Chappaqua, NY SIII V12 E type Roadster

As promised, Ron has updated us on the progress with his car. It has been in the capable hands of Stew Jones at Stew Jones Restoration in CT where it has had a full engine rebuild, a set of (Jet Hot Coated) Team CJ/Hayward & Scott headers and a JT5 five speed conversion.

Ron describes all this work as his 'Christmas present to himself'.

Ron has kindly sent us these photographs of his V12 roadster showing the installation of a set of six Weber carbs.

He reports that the carbs were the old style, built at a time when production was still in Italy. As a result he did not experience any clearance problems under the bonnet.

As Ron put it in the note he attached to the photographs:

"Just plug in and play: adjust and adjust, adjust and adjust, adjust, adjust....!"

Ron's car is presently with Stew Jones in Winsted, CT where it is receiving a set of Team CJ headers and a thorough tuning.
