This historic race car is being restored and prepared for one of our clients by our friends at Hendrick Motorsports in Concord, NC. The car was raced extensively (and very successfully) by six time NASCAR Champion Jimmie Johnson, who drove it to 3 top five finishes in the 2004, 2005 and 2006 Daytona 500 races. Hendrick Motorsports have kindly given us permission to put some photos of their work here in the CJ Workshop section of our webpage.

Special thanks to Rick Hendrick for allowing his team to build this car for us, and to Mark Anderson in the HMS Raced Parts Division for making it happen and for supplying all the great photographic updates!

Update report - May 14, 2014

The Hendrick Motorsports team have so far completed a chassis and suspension inspection, installed the fuel cell and fuel filler, installed the radiator and prepared and installed the engine and transmission.
