Our Cars - 1967 Chevrolet El Camino

We have owned this great old truck a number of times over the last few years, having passed it back and forth between ourselves and various friends of CJ on a right of first refusal if you ever sell agreement. Having recently bought it back for a third time, we have now decided to make it a permanent member of the CJ fleet. The truck runs and drives beautifully and gets as many or more 'thumbs ups' from other motorists as any other car we have ever owned.

In the last thousand or so miles we have installed a 300 HP crate motor, Vintage Air AC, Wilwood brakes, 17 inch American Racing Torque Thrust wheels, a new front grill and headlamp surround panels, a custom leather headliner, retrimmed the seats in Suffolk & Turley hide, fabricated and installed some custom Wilton wool carpeting, replated the front bumper and installed a rather exotic Rosewood steering wheel.
