The finished article get its moment in the spotlight!

Update - April 15, 2001

It was great to see you again last week, Don. Judging from the first photograph below, I guess I don't have to ask whether you enjoyed your visit!

As you can see from the following photographs, John has now pretty much put all the finishing touches to your E Type. We went ahead and installed a leather safety strap to the Kevlar bonnet, as per our discussions. I think David made a neat job of the installation. All that really remains is for me to drive the car a few hundred miles and send it Westward!

I will be in touch next week.

Update report - March 23, 2001
Almost done! The interior is now installed, as is the CD player and the modified Minilite wheels shod with 215/65 Dunlops. We are still on schedule (there's a first) to roll the car out to the workshop on Tuesday for the installation of the Webers.

I hope you like the way the ensemble is coming together!

Here you can see pictures of David installing the door window frames, door and quarter light glass.
Time permitting (!) I will try to update your page again during the course of today.

Report date - March 2, 2001

The interior is taking shape from the rear of the car forward. In the following photographs you can see the rear boot boards installed, along with the cubby shelf, wheel arch panels and the boot rails. The next items to be installed will be the quarter light windows, cantrails, door glass frames and new door glass.

I hope you are pleased with the progress!
