Although there remains a great deal of work to do before we will be ready to paint the car, we are now making steady progress towards that point.

The interior has now been completely removed, as have any remaining engine bay components. We have already begun the process of rebuilding the front and rear suspension systems. The pictures below show the rear end as it came out of the car, and in the process of being torn down. The body has now been delivered to Jeff for installation of the new floors and sills.
Don't panic - we'll get it all back together for you!

The engine bay is now totally stripped. Next we will remove the interior in readiness for floor and inner/outer sill replacement. It is a shame that this car was so badly represented - a rust free car indeed.
Nonetheless, once we are finished our work your E Type will be ready for another 35 years of service.

This is the first of a number of reports documenting the work we are doing to this 1965 E Type roadster. Our instructions are to improve the performance and reliability of this car by incorporating a number of Team CJ upgrades throughout the suspension, steering, braking and cooling systems. We will also be installing a Team CJ aluminium flywheel and dealing with some corrosion damage.
