1977 XJ6C Truly excellent example of very rare Jaguar coupe

We first sold this exceptional Jaguar XJ6 coupe in September 2010, at which time it was showing less than 28,000 miles on the odometer. After 18 months of reliable service as a genuine daily driver, the car has now covered a total of 41,000 miles. We were delighted to purchase the car back from the previous owner, who decided to trade up to a modern horsepower monster.

Every indication points to the miles being actual. For example, the original carpets in both front footwells are in remarkably good condition - a classic indicator of low miles. The engine bay and undercarriage are in similarly remarkable condition.

New hide seat covers have been installed front and rear at some time in the past, and remain in excellent condition. In fact, the front and rear passenger seats look as if they have never been sat in. The headliner has been professionaly replaced, as have all the major rubber seals. The dash is in superb condition, including the burr walnut fascias, which are virtually perfect.

The car is fitted with almost new Dayton wire wheels and tires.

This truly exceptional XJ coupe is completely rust free - and always has been. It received a bare metal repaint a few years ago and it still shows well. The overall appearance and condition of the car is truly excellent. The air conditioning system has been upgraded to Series III XJ specifications and works perfectly.

You could search for many years and not find a better example of this ultra stylish Jaguar coupe.

Although we are representing this car as being in superb running and driving condition, please keep in mind that it is now 35 years old. Accordingly, therefore, it is being sold as is, where is, with no warranty of any kind being offered.

This car is currently being serviced and detailed in the CJ workshops and will be ready for delivery or collection mid July.
