This 1975 Norton Commando has just undergone an extensive mechanical overhaul. $3,000 was spent on parts alone to ensure this motorcycle is in top notch mechanical condition. Everything works, including the desirable electric start.

Although by no means an all inclusive list, the work done includes the following:

• Rebuilt carbs
• Rebuilt electric start
• Rebuilt front forks with new fork tubes
• New Dunlop vintage tires
• Braided oil lines
• Oil drain anti-sump check valve
• New exhaust
• Rebuilt brake calipers
• Rebuilt brake master cylinders
• Rebuilt dash assembly
• New ignition switch and electronic ignition
• New inner chain case
• New headlamp shell
• New gaskets throughout
• New peg mounts and rubber pegs
• New wing mirrors

This matching numbers Norton Commando is in very good condition cosmetically, and truly excellent condition mechanically. It starts with literally one kick, has great compression and runs strong. It has the usual minor oil leaks, as do all British motorcycles of this vintage, but much better than most.

Please remember that this motorcycle is now 36 years old. It is by no means a show bike, although it is extremely presentable. The photographs above are a good representation of the overall condition.
