This driver quality E Type, while certainly quite presentable, is not as good as it looks in the photographs. The car really needs new outer sills and would also benefit from a couple of localized patches in the rear floor sections, as well as up inside the inner (left hand) rear wheel well. Please look at the last three photographs in the sequence below to see these corroded areas.

The car can be purchased 'as is', with the new owner having the option of postponing the repairs, or perhaps carrying them out himself - or we would be happy to do the repairs in the CJ workshop, at additional cost.

The paintwork on this car is in fair to good condition, but does have a few very minor nicks, dings and scratches. The chrome shines brightly and looks smart, and the interior is particularly clean and presentable. The vinyl convertible top is functional, if a little scruffy. Mechanically, the car appears to be in decent shape, and enjoys the added benefits of triple Weber carbs and a five speed conversion. This E Type drives out quite nicely and has just passed the Texas state inspection.

In summary, this is a presentable driver. The car is obviously not without rust issues and will certainly require some remedial bodywork, as described above. Allow a budget of around $5,000 if you would like Classic Jaguar to replace the outer sills and patch the rust holes shown in the photographs below.
