Offered here is a running and driving, genuine big block Corvette Stingray with rare and desirable factory air conditioning and 4 speed transmission. The car is not matching numbers, having had its original 427 engine swapped for a 454 at some time in the distant past. Originally Nassau Blue, our Corvette currently wears an older repaint in maroon, with a largely original black interior. The air conditioning compressor is included but not currently installed, although the original factory dash vents are still in place. The side pipes are not original specification. The rear suspension has been upgraded, with most of the removed components retained and included in the sale. The original rear valance and aluminum side panels are included in the sale.

Cosmetically, the car is admittedly a little scruffy around the edges. It is probably a strong #4, with plenty of scope for improvement. The frame is solid and damage free, and the only obvious damage on the body is very minor accident damage to the front right hand front wheel arch (see photo below).

This Corvette has been in its current ownership in Texas for the past 12 years. It was purchased from a gentleman in TN who had owned the car in Texas prior to moving to TN, so we know it has been a Texas car for decades. This explains why it is a genuinely rust free example.

With big block Corvette prices soaring, this genuine 'driver condition' car represents a rare opportunity to get a foot hold in the market, and on the road immediately, at a very reasonable price point.
