We are delighted to offer this extremely presentable, driver quality Jaguar XK140 roadster for sale. The car is finished in the very attractive color scheme of dark blue coachwork with grey hide interior - really a beautiful look for these elegant roadsters from a bygone era.

This car was extensively restored in the late 1980's, leading to frequent appearances on the JCNA Concours show circuit during the early 1990's. The owner at that time, who sold the car to the current owner in 2005, reported that the car had been driven less than 1,500 miles since the restoration was completed in 1991. The current owner has added less than 1,000 miles in the eight years the car has been in his care.

The car comes with a huge box of receipts dating back to 1977. The files also include several JCNA judging sheets, and a full record of all the work that has been performed over the past 36 years. Most recently, the car has had a five speed transmission installed, and also had the carbs rebuilt. The original transmission is included in the sale.

Please note that this lovely old Jaguar is not being represented as being in show condition. There are some minor flaws in the paintwork, including some slight dings and scratches. The panel fit is presentable but not of show quality. The photographs make the paintwork look better than it actually is, although the car is still obviously very presentable. The convertible top and side screens are in very good condition, as is all the glass, chrome and brighwork.

The car will receive a full service in the CJ Workshops prior to delivery.

These beautiful old Jaguars are appreciating fast. This particular car represents excellent value and a rock solid investment at the selling price.
