# 42
GT2 E Type Race Car

December 2002

This vehicle was sold on eBay.

Update report - October 13, 2002
This great old race car (# 42) is a brutal 65 FHC with a storied past. In the capable hands of its creator and previous owner, Ned Yeaton of Delray Beach, Florida, it has won numerous regional and national SCCA events and even has the honour of holding the GT2 lap record at Daytona.
As our racing plans no longer include SCCA GT2, # 42 is now available for sale. If you are interested in a fully sorted, turnkey racing E Type, contact me at Classic Jaguar on 512 288 8800 or by email at: danmooney@classicjaguar.com

The car is available with or without its 42 foor triple axle trailer but does include a number of valuable spares including spare wheels and tyres, etc. The engine (about 310/320hp) only has a couple of hours on it and mechanically everything is functioning perfectly. The car starts and idles like a daily driver. Paint is old and somehat checked, but still perfectly presentable for a serious race car.

Price with miscellaneous spares, but not including the trailer: $25,000. Interesting trades considered, cash either way.

Check out the sister car to # 42, a 1962 flat floor roadster vintage racer (# 41).
