1974 V12 E Type Roadster Drive train rebuilt at Classic Jaguar

Here is a rare opportunity to acquire an E Type that has been mechanically rebuilt and upgraded from stem to stern. This particular car has had virtually its entire drive train rebuilt in the CJ Workshops within the last 12 months.

The lucky new owner of this E Type has nothing to do but jump in and drive it! Cosmetically, the car is completely solid and shows no visible rust whatsoever. It has recently been repainted to a reasonable standard, although the doors and bonnet could benefit from some minor re-adjustment.

The interior, which is original, is still extremely presentable and enjoys a very nice patina. The seats show only very minor wear and the original hides are still supple. There is a slight tear in the vinyl on the driver's seat back where the seat has been in contact with the lowered convertible top frame over the years (very common). There is some slight scuffing of the carpeting in the driver's footwell, although the carpets generally are still very presentable. The convertible top is in good condition and the car comes with an excellent canvas soft top boot.

This car is available for less than the previous owner has invested in repairs and mechanical upgrades. With E Type prices on the move, and given the extensive work already done to this particular car, we feel like it represents an excellent long term investment for its new owner.
