4.2 E Type Jaguar - Cylinder head rebuild

Update report - February 20, 2009

We have now completed this rebuild and your cylinder head is on way back to you.

Valve lash set at .004" int. and .006" exh. Valve shim allocation as follows:

Exhaust # 1 = .112", # 2 = .111", # 3 = .111", # 4 = .111", # 5 = .106", # 6 = .110"
Intake # 1 = .109", # 2 = .110", # 3 = .109", # 4 = .112", # 5 = .109", # 6 = .112"


 

 


With all the machine work completed, it is now time to assemble your cylinder head.

We have now replaced all twelve tappet guides and cut the exhaust valve job.
