Team CJ cylinder head rebuild

I am pleased to report that your cylinder head rebuild has now been completed. We spent a little extra time sanding and polishing the damaged area on the front of the head - and you can see the results in the photographs below.

Warning! Do not lay the cylinder head flat when you remove it from the crate as doing so will bend a valve!

Here you can see the head being surfaced and the installation of the valve guides and seats, etc. Notice how the water jackets have been re-shaped after the weld repairs.

The following photographs show the various weld repairs in progress. Over the next couple of days I will post photographs of the machine work and re-assembly. We are on schedule to ship the head back to you this week.

I am pleased to report that we now have your cylinder head rebuild underway. The front of the head has been quite badly scored/damaged at some time and is going to take some extra sanding and polishing. Other than that, we don't see any significant issues. I hope you enjoy watching the rebuild unfold!
